Pangandaran beach

 Pangandaran Travel: Pangandaran was once a small town located in the southern district Ciamis regency, West Java, Indonesia. This beach is located on the Strait of Java. Pangandaran Beach is a popular tourist destination, because the beach is considered one of the best beaches in West Java.

A kite festival held on the beach in July each year. Locals regularly use kites in the evenings to catch bats, whether eaten or used in Chinese medicine. There is a local belief that if there is wear green in this area would be angered Nyi Loro Kidul, Javanese guardian spirit or goddess of the southern sea, and it is believed to bring misfortune.

Pananjung Nature Reserve nearby on a peninsula connected to the mainland by a narrow neck of tanah.Luas isthmus is about 200 meters away and we could see the sunrise in the east coast and the west coast sunset when the sun is above the southern hemisphere. Approximately eighty percent of the nature reserve is secondary rainforest. Flora of the nature reserve covers this Rafflesia.
